Karen Vi – I’ve been listening to Warning by Incubus on repeat. She woke in the morning, she knew that her life had passed her by. She called out a warning, don’t ever let life pass you by. It’s amazing how lyrics can speak to you at certain chapters in your life.
Picture this: You’re a ghost, floating through the days, going through the motions like a hamster on wheel, with no true passion or fire. Where is that fire? You had it once, but it seemed to fade. Or maybe, like most of us, you’re still trying to find the match to light it underneath you.
There you sit, cradling your uncertainty and your fear, twiddling your thumbs in a dead end, desolate energy, as you wait for your wondrous life to come into existence on its own. As you’re settling for this thing you call life, ask yourself this: Am I happy Am I truly living?
I am guilty of this, of overthinking, worrying, fearing, settling, remaining unchallenged, and being comfortable with being uncomfortable. Somewhere along the road, I stopped adding fuel to the pit fire and settled in the ashes. I forgot what it felt like to chase something, to feel alive, to feel the spirit and the drive.
You cannot afford to wait. This is your life and your life only. If you’re not doing or pursuing the things that truly feed your happiness, then what is the point? Pour your entire heart into something, whatever it may be, and work at that everyday, even if it’s baby steps. Nurture that passion, and never stop trying to light it. Only you can create the life you want. Because before you know it, you’re 70 years old, all wrinkly and grey, laying on the bed of your nursing home staring at the cracks in ceiling, still twiddling those thumbs, wondering where your time went. What did you do with your life that was truly gratifying to your soul and whole being? Are you proud of the life you created?
Now, ask yourself this: What fulfills you? What draws you? What excites you? Figure that out, and work towards it, whatever that may be. Stop standing still. WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU WAITING FOR?

Karen Vi – Woke up today like Happy Monday! Lufff this outfit combo @aloyoga.
I get a lot of questions about how their stuff fits. Just to give you an idea, my @aloyoga collection is now surpassing my Lulu collection in my closet, which I never thought possible! Quality is amazing, and they are more fitted than your normal stretch leggings, meaning the fabric is a little more firm, but extremely soft and breathable. They are like the setting spray of makeup, aka meant to hold and seal everything in place so it shapes your lower half and midsection

Karen Vi – I love this photo, because it reminds me so much about what I’ve learned regarding confidence and style. Growing up (currently, still, and always), I started to lean more towards not what will show off the most, but what I can show while still remaining tasteful and classy.
Do I love to wear tiny swimsuits, short shorts, and crop tops? Oh yes. Do I have the self confidence to show off and be proud of the body I was blessed with and work for everyday? Hell yeah. Am I for women having the freedom to express themselves by dressing how they feel like? yes. Am I comfortable with my body to be able to wear what I like? Absolutely.
But I’ve also learned that not every dress has to be short, cleavage doesn’t always have to pop, and booty doesn’t always have to hang out in order for a woman to feel confident and be sexy. Elegance is sexy. Extremely sexy. And mystery is damn sexy. So don’t pass up that fully covered, long, simple black dress because it’s too plain or you think won’t garner attention. Because sometimes less is more, and not revealing everything all the time says a lot more about your confidence. #Lessons.

Karen Vi – I’m a simple girl when it comes to outfits, but the fit always has to be perfect and pulled together. I’m big on neutrals and solids, and once I find something I love I’ll usually buy the same thing in more than one color. Who else does this Outfit details:
Jeans @topshop

Karen Vi – Ladies, do your research and learn how you can grow & shape the best booty you’ve ever had through weight training & eating real food. It’s not rocket science, & you don’t need photoshop or surgery. Sculpting your body is a process that takes time, but you are building (not buying) a masterpiece of your very own. Leggings @lululemon

Karen Vi – You see, me and the stairmaster have always had a love/hate relationship. I hate doing it, but I love how it engages my entire body, especially my lower half, where my trouble spots are.
Try my high intensity cardio sesh
5 min warmup – Level 6
30 – 45 seconds – Level 16
60 – 90 second rest – level 8
Repeat 10x each (Be sure to time yourself!)
Not for the faint hearted (literally, it kicks your ass) so take it slow. If you can’t do these levels, don’t sweat it. Just make sure that when you increase your speed it’s challenging enough for you to only be able to do 30 – 45 seconds. Enjoy the rest of your Saturday friends! Outfit: @aloyoga

Karen Vi – I’ve never had a toned backside. Before I started working out more effectively and consistently, I always thought my body just wouldn’t build muscle the way other girls did. I’ve always loved my body, but had the idea that it was meant to stay curvy and thick. Damn was I wrong.
My prior mindset was a combination of lack of knowledge and research, not training hard enough, and not wanting be open minded to learning from others. I let all of that go as well as ideas I thought I “knew” and were absolute “end alls” once my man @rhygunnar started training me. He taught me that we could transform my body into whatever the hell I wanted.
So just when you think your are stuck with the shape and body you have, try something different. And ALWAYS be open to adjustments and change Outfit: @lululemon
