Laura Ivette – I haven’t stepped on a scale more than 5 times in the last year, partly because I feel good about how I look, but also cause I want to avoid seeing a higher number. I talk about eating healthy, not restrictive. Weight training, not doing endless cardio; and in all finding balance.
When you decide not to stress so much about your body, it responds better. I’m finally at a point where I enjoy working out and love eating healthy again. I have made incredible strength and condition improvements while still letting myself indulge and enjoy life.
I’ve learned so much about my body and how quickly I can get it to respond to changes. Unlike last year, around this time, I was on an emotional and physical roller coaster. But today, I’m happy to say that this is where I am about #40weeksout from my next @wbff_official pro show.
