Following the first release of the Nike Free Trainer 1.0 ‘Chalk for Your Feet’, the trainer is now available in some more colorful combinations. Available in combinations of black and red, grey and blue, triple black, grey and orange, and green and black, Nike are giving plenty of options for lifters interested in the Free Trainer 1.0.
The Free Trainer 1.0 is Nike’s most flexible trainer yet, with Free grades ranging from 10 for a conventional runner to 0 representing the freedom of a barefoot. The thin rubber outsole wraps around the entire foot providing a strong grip on any training surface, while the midsole has a 0 mm offset providing a completely natural stance. The Trainer 1.0 is perfect for deadlifts as it keeps lifters as close to the ground as possible, reducing the total distance the bar needs to be pulled. If you typically lift barefoot, scope out the colorways below and pick up a pair from the Nike store for $150.
