I wanted to do figure only so I waited to build muscles before I competed. I can remember the first time seeing my posing coach and she said I needed more back. As a competitor the first thing u will learn is how to take criticism in anyway, of course in a positive way so u learn to get better every time. To now 2 years later that u am a pro, I still train back like a mad woman every time because I know that's what I was lacking in the beginning. So often I appreciate a good photographer who knows his lightning to where edit isn’t absolutely needed. A little skin or color correction is understandable , however I’m a firm believer in keeping it as “realistic” as possible. Too many times I’ve ran across pics with altered body parts where that is the opposite of the fitness industry, why train hard if you’re gonna photoshop your whole body anyways. Just my two cents. Don’t spend 8 hours a day working for someone else and forget to work on yourself. You are not too busy, you are uninspired. Europa has always been such an amazing show and I love competing here twice already, I got second last year, this year I got 5th- with a much tighter package. It is a little hard I’m not gonna lie, because I am an athlete and I train to be the best, and I came in my best the rest was up to the judges. Non the less I loved being up on stage after a year taking off, it felt absolutely amazing! We will get feedback to see what I need to work on, irregardless I’m always working on me, to be better every day! Not one single comment goes unnoticed, I read everyone of them. Tina Nguyen – One thing that I wanted to work on for this year was my conditioning on my legs, that’s what held me back from winning at my pro debut last year , and also fixing my symmetry to be more balanced and not so “quad” heavy. CLA is a great supplement to add for your list, I have taken this since day 1 even before started competing. There are a lot of benefits which includes boosting immune system, increase your metabolism, increase lean muscle tissue etc. I get mine from @primenutra you can take 2 per day, very natural and non toxic. I never really post anything I don’t use, have tried or like. Have an upcoming shoot this Sunday since a while, adding a little water loss to lose some water weight.
