Watch Ulisses Jr train legs in this workout highlighting the exercises used to build big hamstrings. Ulisses recommends warming up with high volume sets of 12 – 15 reps for each exercise. The leg workout starts with lying hamstring curls followed by standing calf raises, the hamstrings are then hit again with standing machine isolation leg curls followed by more calf work on the seated calf press machine. If you don’t have a seated calf press machine at your gym use the leg press and place your toes on the bottom of the pad. Next Ulisses Jr finishes off hamstrings with standing isolation leg curls, this time on a plate loaded machine, before finishing off the workout with leg presses and machine front squats for quad growth. ULISSES JR’S LEG WORKOUT (HAMSTRING FOCUS)

  • Lying Leg Curls: 4 sets of 8-10 reps
  • Standing Calf Raises: 5 – 6 sets of heavy weight with perfect control
  • Standing (Machine) Isolation Leg Curls: 3 sets of 12 – 15 reps followed by a final drop set
  • Seated Calf Presses (Machine): 5 – 6 sets
  • Standing (Plate Loaded) Isolation Leg Curl: 4 sets of 6 – 12 reps
  • Leg Press: 4 sets of 12 – 15 reps
  • Plate Loaded Machine Front Squats: 4 – 6 sets of 12 – 15 reps
